Mixed Martial Arts as people know it. Fastest growing sport today. It is a discipline that collaborates anywhere from 2 to 8 different styles of fighting and self-defense. I have learned from my experience that to switch from one art to another you will have to start from the basics. Although you already have an advanced knowledge of one art, when you study and try to learn another, you will have to forget everything you have learned of the other art and start with a clean slate.
A good analogy would be let's say you have a glass of water that is 3/4 full, but you want to drink the most amount of milk you can put on that glass. You will have to empty that glass of water and fill it up with milk.
To be closer to Christ, we have to humble ourselves and declare ourselves sinners and spiritually bankrupt. Then fill ourselves with the Word of God.
